Plumbing for Queens

A debate as old as time is, "which trades skill is the most essential" (while nowadays many people like to image the answer is electrical,) the answer is plumbing.

Kohler brand toilet over tile floor. Everything from the cedar wall to the tile floor, was done by Construction by LumberJacks, Kings, and Queens. 

 

Tile shower stall with floor to ceiling large format, waterproof tiles. To reduce trip hazard while entering the shower, there is "no curb" at the entry. Floor has been adequately sloped to drain all water during and after showering.

 

Showerhead with handheld wand. Natural Italian marble trim on the outside corner to prevent water running around the edge. Natural American hardwood ceiling made with  rot resistant and eco friendly (and structurally superior) lumber sources.

 

Wall hung sink, easy to clean the tile floor underneath. The sink is very sturdy, no rocking or tilt. Hot and cold water plumbed to the lavatory faucet over the porcelain basin.

 

All the plumbing details that only a good plumber can appreciate! Drain pipes function better when the "pitch" is over 1/4" per foot (minimum code requirement). Believe you me, I'm an inspector, contractors, and former service plumber technician. All these pipes are installed with exceptional slope, and therefore the drains have not, and will not ever become clogged.

 

The concrete pour to patch the flood after the rough plumbing was done correctly to reduce the chance of pipes cracking or tiles shifting. I'm not sure if it comes across obviously in the photos, but that job site is remarkably clean. 

 

Dishwasher supplied with hot water. Raised height for accessible loading and unloading of dishes.
